BRIAN ASHA TEAMS WITH JACK DE KEYZER AND GRAMMY PRODUCER PHILIP LARSEN FOR "MIGHTY MAN"

Canadian recording artist Brian Asha has released "Mighty Man," an five-track EP built around the guitar work of two-time Juno Award winner Jack De Keyzer and remixed by Grammy Award-winning producer Philip Larsen, known for his work with Studio Killers, Jasmine Is, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, and Soft Cell.

The two collaborators came to the track from opposite directions. De Keyzer and Brian Asha go back decades, and last year, Asha approached him about recording on "Mighty Man."

Larsen's entry came differently. He found Asha's original 2022 remix of the track on YouTube and reached out cold. Once Asha learned Larsen’s history and had worked with acts including Soft Cell and Erasure, bands he'd been spinning as a DJ since the 1980s, the collaboration was, in Asha's words, a no-brainer. Larsen went on to remix most of the tracks on the EP.

"Mighty Man" is also the anthem for Mighty IRL, a movement founded by Asha to inspire young men to disconnect from their screens and reconnect with real-world experience. The song's message of positive, unfiltered masculinity runs through every version on the EP.

Not only a great worthy IRL message and cause behind this that we can all relate to, but also something that little bit away from your usual beats that make Mighty Man that extra special EP, with a bunch of mixes, inc the acapella which allows you to be creative in your own way.
