John Galea is Hotter Than A Heatwave....

Award Winning Top 40 U.K charting Singer/Songwriter John Galea is set to release his new track ‘Hotter Than A Heatwave’ which is the 2nd track to be taken from his eagerly awaited debut album. This Dance/Pop/Garage influenced track is the follow up track to John Galea’s Smash hit single ‘Songwriter’ that debuted in April 2026 on the Official Top 40 Singles U.K Chart.

After the success of his 1st single and the previous 6 Independent E.P’s that John has released, John once again teams up with long time Producer Oscar Lo Brutto ( Wretech32) and filmed the music video on location between the intense heat of South Beach, Miami Florida and the Mediterranean sun of Malta, where John spends a lot of his time.

When asked about the track John said ‘ I love the Summer and I can safely say this is a true summer track - it was written one hot afternoon and is about a turbulent relationship, the ups and downs, the heat and the cold, the push and the pull. It’s a very different kind of track from me where I used my falsetto a lot of more in the studio and it brought out something fresh’

‘Hotter Than A Heatwave’ has been remixed by fellow LGBTQIA+ artist Bright Light x2 who has worked with Elton John and Cher. The other 7th Heaven remixes bring a more dance floor vibe to the pop sound.

Over the years John has been making waves in the music industry working with various producers and writers including Grammy Winners The Monarch (Kelly Clarkson), Beluga Heights ( Chris Brown), Darkchild (Destiny’s Child) & Frankmusik scoring an iTunes Number #1 in 2020. After Winning a National Songwriting Contest as a teenager, the Great Yarmouth born Singer/Songwriter started writing for various artists including himself and played to sold out shows, toured with McFly, and played major festivals and Pride stages all around the country with his band.

John is set to release his debut album later on this year.
