With its hazy melancholic introduction, luscious sunsets at 80% humidity and decaying decadence, the tongue-in-cheek verses perfectly marry Jake Shear’s witty wordplay and Whyte Horses side-eye look at songwriting with timeless melodies bursting into an unforgettable euphoric chorus refrain.
