Jess Young returns with her next single, “I Guess I’ll Pray”.

Following her latest independent release, “Chainsmoking” – which has racked up over 50,000 streams in its first few weeks – Jess Young returns with her next single, “I Guess I’ll Pray”.

“I Guess I’ll Pray” is an up-tempo, guitar-driven pop tune about the love that gets left behind after a breakup.

Jess wrote the tune with Lloren (who has racked up over 30 sync credits, including Greys Anatomy, Love Island) and it’s produced by London-based producer Plamen Vasilev whose credits include Sam Smith, Ellie Banke, Calvin Harris and more.

“I told someone once that I only write music about things that make me sad or angry,” quotes Jess, “When we were together, he always asked me to write a song about him. I never did… until we broke up.

This song was the first one. It’s not about anger. It’s about loving someone deeply and watching something beautiful fall apart. Sometimes the hardest endings are the ones where there’s still love left.”
