When you have the hitmakers who contributed so much to “Gypsy Woman” and “Show Me Love” on your side, you know that you’re onto a good thing—and this was exactly the feeling that Cambridge-based vocalist Anneli UK had when she first heard the song that would become her forthcoming single “Fallin’ in Love.” When her Stonebridge-produced and co-written release “Nothing’s Gonna Bring Us Down” went Top 10 on the UK club charts, she and Stonebridge discussed working together again in the future. Upon hearing the Stonebridge/Crystal Waters co-write “Fallin’ in Love,” she knew that this was the song that had to be her next single. “It was infectious and really had the feel-good factor,” she explains. “I’d been a fan of Crystal Waters and Stonebridge for some time, so working with both of them felt like a beautiful opportunity.” Stonebridge applied his trademark uplifting production skills once more, and here we are!

“I think we’ve all been in a situation where we are ‘Fallin’ in Love,’” Anneli explains. “I can certainly relate to the lyrics based on past relationships, and I hope that those who hear it can too.” Relating and connecting—these are key words for Anneli, who has been stepping onstage since she was a child and continually seeks to find that magical connection that music can bring. It’s not surprising that promoting club events also features in her CV—another role where it’s all about creating connections and shared experiences. Anneli builds on the story and looks at what she hopes the future holds. “It’s all about growing further for me,” she says, “whether that’s in terms of my own experiences and skills or in terms of growing streams, the size of the venues that I play, or the level of connection that I can achieve with the music that I release."

With more than one UK club chart Top 10 record to her name already and with iconic names such as Stonebridge and Crystal Waters contributing to her journey, the future is bright for Anneli UK.
