In 2004, Australian dance act Slinkee Minx exploded onto the charts with their euphoric reimagining of ‘Summer Rain’. The track became an instant hit, debuting at #5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, spending 13 consecutive weeks at #1 on the ARIA Dance Chart and topping the UK’s DMC World Hard House and Pop Club Charts. Certified Gold in Australia and named the Highest-Selling Australian Dance Single of 2004, ‘Summer Rain’ went on to dominate dance floors across Europe and the UK, appearing on major international compilations and cementing its place as one of the defining dance anthems of the 2000s.
