– Shyra Sanchez is a singer, dancer, producer, fitness entrepreneur, and motivational speaker whose artistry is rooted in empowerment. From chart-topping singles to movie soundtracks, she has built a career spanning music, dance, film, fashion, and wellness. Garnering over 180k followers on Instagram, over a million YouTube views, and the attention of OK Magazine, Los Angeles Tribune, iHeart Radio, Swagger Magazine, among others, Sanchez is riding the momentum with her new single “Operator,” due out January 16, 2026. The song will appear in the film Not Without You, directed by Joe Carnahan, in theaters December 12th, and a video for the single is also in the works, directed by the legendary Travis Payne, a mentor and creative ally.
As a Billboard-charting artist, fitness influencer, and inspirational speaker, Sanchez blends art with purpose, reaching global audiences through music, movement, and meaningful storytelling. Shaped by challenges and defined by resilience, she thrives on her own terms. “I was born to entertain and uplift,” she says. “From a young age, I found purpose in performance. Over time, that expanded into creating music, designing lifestyle brands, and mentoring emerging talent.”
A pivotal moment came when legendary director John Singleton discovered Sanchez, calling her the “next superstar.” Her song DJ Love Song featured in Singleton’s film Abduction and soared to #28 on the dance Billboard charts. “It felt like the universe was collaborating with me,” Sanchez recalls.
Sanchez recently released the remix record Fire: Reignited, a reimagining of Bruce Springsteen’s classic produced alongside Grammy-winning collaborators. The music video for “Fire” has surpassed one million views and Los Angeles Tribune raved, “‘Fire” is more than just a revival of a classic. It’s a cinematic statement of independence and strength. The video radiates energy from the first frame — filled with commanding choreography, vivid color, and Sanchez’s unmistakable presence at the center of it all.”
Raised in Northern California in a multicultural household, Sanchez grew up immersed in music and creativity. Inspired by her mother’s strength and spirituality, she learned early that self-expression was power. As a child, she danced in grocery store aisles and belted out ballads, laying the foundation for a life centered around performance and creativity. Though her journey began in dance, Sanchez felt a pull toward singing and songwriting. In the studio, she discovered her voice as a truth-telling tool—raw, intimate, and transformative. For Sanchez, purpose outweighs pressure. She leans on music, movement, prayer, and writing to navigate challenges, staying grounded in authenticity and surrounding herself with honest guidance. She emphasizes that you don’t need permission to create your own platform; progress matters more than perfection; energy is your currency; say “no” more; and invest in mental health, as boundaries, rest, and reflection are essential.
And what a remix package too featuring Marc Baigant, Bimbo Jones, Try Harder, Dave Aude & Until Dawn!
