Liverpool native, Lee Crompton aka ‘Bounce Projectz’ has been a pioneer of the Bounce scene for over 12 years and on November 11th he officially releases his highly anticipated track ‘Behind These Hazel Eyes’. The track has been dubbed the biggest ‘Bounce’ track to break out of the Liverpool scene in over a decade. His love of Bounce developed from a young age, having grown up around the scene his whole life, he states: “I've listened to Bounce music since I was a kid I've always loved it there's a real togetherness with the people in the scene with the passion everyone has for the music. From the Producers/DJ's to the mc’s.” The highly infectious track builds out a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s 2005 Global smash hit ‘Behind These Hazel Eyes’. In finding inspiration in the studio Bounce Projectz says: “I was thinking about the next track and wanted to switch it up a bit so I thought going with the organ bass bounce track was a good idea, I was looking around for vocals what I thought would sound good and came across Kelly Clarkson's - behind these Hazel eyes acapella. So I loaded it into the daw and began to make the track I sent a sample to a few friends and they really loved it so got my head down and got stuck into it and that's how we ended up with the track.” Ahead of it’s official release, the track has blown up online receiving 200k daily streams across SoundCloud & YouTube, rising through the charts to #4 on the ‘all genres’ chart on SoundCloud and over 40m views on videos using the sound on TikTok with over 30k creations.
