Tara McDonald dubbed "the Queen of dance", awarded "Voice of the year 2014" and described by Rolling Stone Magazine as "The white singer with the black voice", first came to prominence featuring on the hit singles "My My My" - Armand van Helden and "Feel the Vibe" – Axwell and for her collaboration with David Guetta on "Delirious" and on the platinum-selling "Pop Life" album as well as numerous other top 20 hits. More recently her 2016 single and Europride Anthem “I Need a Miracle” gave her her first #1 record, launching her into the mainstream media and radio waves across Europe.

Tara built on her European success by turning her attention to Latin America releasing “Love me” with the platinum selling Spanish artist Juan Magan in 2016, and following up with the smash hit ”Money Maker” in 2019, featuring the multi-platinum Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Zion & Lennox; "My Skeletons" featuring top Mexican rapper MC Davo in early 2020; and “One Track Mind” featuring Mexicos’ superstar urban artist Mad Fuentes and Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Jay Blessing in early 2021 with a vocal remix featuring multi-Platinum Colombian reggaeton superstar Reykon released in early 2022 - amassing millions of streams across the region as her popularity grew.

During the enforced COVID hiatus Tara was busy working on perfecting a clutch of new songs and collaborations more focused on the European market .She has featured on several tracks with French DJ/producer Rawdolff including his massive 2021 unique twist on Kylies “Can’t Get You Outta my Head” (4m+ streams, featured on numerous playlists including Spotify’s Euphoria EDM, Electro Heat and Cancun de Noche and charting at #3 in UK Commercial Pop chart; #5 in UK Upfront chart) and more recently on his radio and dancefloor hit “Lose you” - built upon the hypnotic, instantly recognizable piano melody of the late Robert Miles’s Dream house classic instrumental  “Children” - a number 1 in dozens of countries in 1996.Released in May 2022, Tara’s vocal version has already amassed over 3m+ streams and peaked at #2 in the UK Music Week Pop Club Chart, #3 in the UK Upfront Charts, #4 The Buzz Charts and #9 Hit des Clubs (France). The single was heavily promoted in UK, France and Germany.

Tara’s was meanwhile busy in the studio putting the finishing touches to her much anticipated first EP “31”, to be released just in time for Hallows Evening on October 31st. Fittingly given Tara’s Irish roots, Halloween is a tradition that is widely believed to have originated from ancient Celtic pagan harvest festivals particularly the Gaelic festival Samhain (Summer’s End), and is dedicated to remembering the dead including saints, martyrs and “the faithful departed”.

The lead track from the EP - released on 30th September - is the irresistible electro fused pop of “Creatures of the Night (When the Freaks come out)”, the Studio 54 and Susanne Bartsch (Copacabana, Savage, Bentleys) inspired tribute to the dressed to kill, androgeneous clubbers and club kids who brought the legendary hedonistic London venues such as Heaven, Turnmills and The Cross to life at the turn of the century and featuring the “When the Freaks come out” refrain made famous by Cevin Fisher at the time.

UK producer Cahill (922k Spotify listeners; remixes for Jess Glynne, Clean Bandit, Julia Michaels, Astrid S) has produced a full vocal version remix to be released in mid-October.
