LYRA releases her version of ‘Edge of Seventeen’ with John Gibbons

County Cork powerhouse and songwriter LYRA releases her version of ‘Edge of Seventeen’ a pumping, exhilarating cover of Stevie Nicks’ eighties-anthem.

It is her first collaboration with dance hitmaker John Gibbons who has established himself as one of Ireland’s most successful dance music exports, he is best known for his hit tracks ‘Let Me Love You’, ‘Hotstepper’, ‘Would I Lie To You’ and ‘P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing)’ garnering triple platinum and platinum status  in Ireland for P.Y.T and Would I Lie To You, respectively.

The release of ‘Edge of Seventeen’ comes hot on the heels of the success of ‘Lose My Mind’ and collaboration with Irish music phenomenon Shane Codd, ‘Lose My Mind’ has been LYRA’s biggest success to date, spending over six months in the national Irish airplay charts Top 100 since it was aired in October 2021. The release of ‘Lose My Mind’ in the UK has delivered a Top 10 hit in the Club lists, reaching #6 on the Upfront Club Top 30 chart and a new entry at #19 on the UK’s Commercial Pop chart.
