Goya Menor & Nektunez now get the remix treatment from the mighty David Guetta!

Kicking-off 2022 in style with an exciting new signing to B1/Ministry of Sound: ‘Ameno Amapiano Remix (You Wanna Bamba)’ by Nigerian singer/rapper Goya Menór and US-based, Ghanaian producer Nektunez. Amapiano Music is a dance-genre that emerged from South Africa in the early 2010’s, from a mixture Deep House, Jazz and Lounge.

The track has been quickly picking up momentum on TikTok, with over 1M creations on the platform already. The track has peaked at #2 on x11 TikTok charts across multiple territories including the UK and the USA. The #amenoamapiano hashtag page on TikTok features over 10M videos.  The trend stemmed from the popular line of the track: ‘Haaa you want to Bamba, wanna chill with the. big boys’ which has seen users use the line in a multitude of different ways from humour, dance to lifestyle.

This incredible viral growth has most notably spread into Shazam charts globally, peaking at #1 on the Global Chart earlier this month. In the UK and Germany it peaked at #3, and in the top 100 in a further x30 markets. On Spotify the track began making moves across multiple Viral 50 lists, including #1 on the Global chart, #1 UK, #3 Australia, #1 Canada, #1 Sweden, #1 Ireland, #2 Germany and more.  The single has also been added to the C List at 1Xtra.
