Having a "Good Time" in the clubs with Jodie Harsh!

Sunday 27th February 2022

Release date: Out now Label: Warner Records

A figure head of the queer scene, cultural icon and formidable recording artist, Jodie Harsh, has today shared her new single ‘Good Time’, out via Warner Records UK. In true Harsh fashion, ‘Good Time’ is a pure pleasure-seeking delight that bursts with ecstasy, revelling in late night hedonism. .

Speaking of the single, Jodie says: “I made this track to be the ultimate party banger - whilst we were stuck at home for My House, we’re truly back on the dance floor for Good Time! I wrote the song with Frances as we chatted about how a night out can lift your mood. It’s about getting lost on the dance floor , a place where everything feels so much better. Musically I wanted to produce something super crazy, a bit disco-housey but distinctly UK sounding. Sonically I wanted it to sit somewhere between my heroes Armand Van Helden and Basement Jaxx”

‘Good Time’ follows on from the reigning Queen supreme of UK nightlife’s brilliant remixes of ‘A Second To Midnight’ by Kylie Minogue and Years & Years, and Sonny Fodera’s ‘Last Thought’. 2022 is set to be another exciting year for the DJ, with tour dates across the world and the upcoming second season of her Life Of The Party podcast, which will see her look back on some of their favourite nights out with a line-up of iconic guests including The Blessed MadonnaJoel Corry and more.

Last year saw Jodie release ‘My House’, which has accumulated millions of streams and is the first song from a drag artist to be playlisted at Radio 1, and the SG Lewis–assisted ‘No Sleep’. She also launched Feel It, her weekly club that is currently in it’s second season with the likes of MeléEats EverythingOK Williams and more taking the decks  and “Queer Super-Party” at London’s Omeara alongside Little Gay Brother.
