"Move Ya Body" for the awesome new RUDY track

Brit Award-Nominated and Multi-Platinum selling German artist Jonasu is a producer behind many global hit singles, including Sam Feldt ‘Post Malone,’ Alok & Dynoro ‘On & On’ and his own Platinum-certified hit single ‘Black Magic,’ which so far has accumulated over 350 million worldwide streams. With a number of pop bangers written and waiting to be released, Jonasu has launched an exciting new project influenced by Gorillaz where fictional characters take the audience to a virtual universe. He was inspired by the iconic ‘Black Magic’ artwork and as a result, the voodoo doll character RUDY was brought to life.

RUDY’s first release was a collaboration with British-Ghanaian rapper Fuse ODG on the single ‘African Lady (Antenna).’ The single is a remake of FUSE ODG’S 2014 Gold-certified UK hit single ‘Antenna,’ which recently blew up on TikTok and became No.1 Trending Sound on TikTok’s UK Hot 50 Chart. Upon release ‘African Lady (Antenna)’ landed on Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ [UK, Germany & Switzerland], ‘Friday Cratediggers,’ ‘New Dance Revolution’ and ‘Hot New Dance.’ It also climbed up Music Week’s Commercial Pop Top 30 Chart and peaked at No.6.

RUDY’s next release ‘Move Ya Body’ is a modern version of classic pop hit 'Move Ya Body' by American duo Nina Sky, which had peaked No.4 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and No.6 on the UK Top 200 Singles Chart back in 2004. The official music video for ‘Move Ya Body’ is an animation that introduces the world to RUDY for the first time. First set in his bedroom where he produces his music, RUDY creates his first demo and takes it to a club night with a dream to become a star.  

With a number of songs set for release this year, 2022 is set to be a promising year for rising bedroom producer RUDY.
