MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST AND PLATINUM-SELLING ARTIST JONASU COLLABORATES WITH UPCOMING SINGER JC STEWART ON NEW SINGLE ‘ON MY MIND’

In a short period of time German multi-instrumentalist Jonasu’s joyful blend of house beats and an ear for an uplifting melody have established him as one of pop’s rising stars. He has written some of the biggest pop songs, working with artists such as Tiesto & Karol G [‘Don’t Be Shy’], Sam Feldt [‘Post Malone’] and Alok & Dynoro [‘On & On’] and produced remixes for the likes of Sigma, Clean Bandit, Dillon Francis, and James Arther.

Jonasu released a few singles as a solo artist however it was his single ‘Black Magic,’ a relentless pop-dance banger, that cemented his mark in the industry as a one to watch. The Platinum-selling hit single rocked to No.3 on the UK Official Top 40 Singles Chart, peaked No.1 on Official Trending Chart and is No.26 of Official Top 40 Biggest Songs of 2021 So Far. It has accumulated over 150 million worldwide streams so far and has landed in some of the biggest streaming playlists across Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and YouTube Music. ‘Black Magic’ also landed on top radio playlists in the UK [Incl. BBC Radio 1, KISS FM and Capital FM] and across the globe. The official music video peaked No.1 on the National TV Airplay Chart, stayed at No.1 on Club MTV’s Big 20 Chart for three consecutive weeks and landed on The Box A-List playlist.

Now Jonasu is back with his much anticipated new single ‘On My Mind,’ “The song is about obsession and the control of love and attraction,” says Jonasu. “A feeling stuck and on repeat in your head - over and over and all one can think about. I wanted the whole record to sound dangerous and electrifying.” The single features up and coming Irish singer JC Stewart, “Really excited about collaborating with JC Stewart!” says Jonasu. “I loved his music for a while, so I am super happy we could work together on this one. I’m very proud of this song and definitely think it’s my best work so far.”

As a solo artist and performer Jonasu played his first ever live show at one of the UK’s biggest electronic music festivals Creamfields over the summer and is set to perform his biggest live show yet at Capital FM’s annual Jingle Bell Ball event at O2 Arena in London, appearing alongside some of the world’s biggest pop artists including Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, KSI and Years & Years.
