Enigmatic brother duo EYK deliver a heady re-edit of the JAKE BUGG single ‘KISS LIKE THE SUN’, adding their own hypnotic spin to the song which swiftly follows on from a bumper remix package for previous single ‘SEEN IT ALL’, from FRICTION, bullet tooth and iLL BLU. 

Jake Bugg released single and video Kiss Like The Sun at the end of last year, his debut release since signing to RCA Records, which marked a new start in his musical career. Co-written with Andrew Watt (Post Malone), it received a Hottest Record play via Annie Mac on Radio 1 and was accompanied by a cinematic performance video shot in Kiev.

Speaking on the collaboration, RHYS KIRKBY-COX and HARVEY KIRKBY (EYK) quote: “I was already a fan of the original before getting asked to remix it. It’s a big tune with a such a good vocal that opened up lot of options for a remix. After a playing around with the stems I decided to go down the Balearic Ibiza/Breakbeat route whilst making Jake’s vocal really spaced out and psychedelic which fitted in perfectly with the rest of the remix.”

Following on from a whirlwind 2019 which includes their first major festival appearance on the R1 Dance Stage at Reading + Leeds festival, an explosive 15-date debut UK headline tour, over 17 million worldwide streams, announced as UK brand ambassadors for Reebok and all complimented by the release of their powerful and passionate 2nd EP ‘LOOK AFTER YOUR PENNIES’: EVEYONE YOU KNOW (EYK), KISS LIKE THE SUN (with Jake Bugg) continues their run of impressive new music and collaborations for 2020, with much more to follow.

Keeping themselves creative in isolation, EYK have been busy keeping their community entertained with ‘Dance Like We Used To’ themed Friday night DJ sets, an exclusive Bank Holiday DJ set with LINE OF BEST FIT, original ‘Do You Miss Raving’ freestyles, exclusive ‘Flip The Beat’ challenges, FIFA challenges, pub quizzes and much more.
