Back in 1987 Nick Halkes aka Nick Reach Up was a student repping the Easy Street label out of his London dorm room. Today he’s an established music industry figure who set up trailblazing labels XL and Positiva before launching the Reach Up Disco Wonderland club brand with his school buddy Andy Smith.It was a conversation between him and Easy Street founder and CEO Mike Gusick that laid the foundations for a refreshed view of the catalogue and here he brings his own fresh take on Hideaway by De' Lacey - road tested at Reach Up gigs from Lisbon to Berlin!

London dj Crissy Kybosh takes the reigns on 'You dont know' by Serious Intention bringing fresh electro flavour to this underground classic whilst hot production talent Chapter and Verse looks to the sublime vocals of Adeva and her classic 'In and out of my life' to deliver a dancefloor bomb. Coming from a different angle but reaching for the same transcendent accapella is Namara whose 'In and out' laces some classic piano flavour and chugging beats into the equation. Finally, Cloonee is a name that has been on the lips of those who are tuned in to emergent talent for some time ,clocking up millions of streams for bangers such as 'The Ciggie' and 'Be Good to me'.On this occasion it's the genre smashing vocals of 'Body Work' by Hot Streak that get put into the blender to provide a stomping workout that has been rocking dancefloors for some time.

However crazy the world may sometimes seem,one thing is for sure-quality stands the test of time and Easy Street prove it once more right here.
