SoundFactory saw the light of day back in ’93 when producer/remixer Emil Hellman needed a vocalist for a couple of tracks. Enter St. James.
1994/95 the duo soon scored chart success in both native Sweden as well as England, Germany Brazil, Canada and the US.
They topped the Billboard charts a couple of times and released 4 singles, all entering the Billboard charts.
The first album Product was released in the US and Canada and sold very well. After moving to New York and spending almost a year and a half touring the States and Canada the duo moved back to Sweden. Sick and tired after touring and the American music business, Emil started to do remixes for almost every Swedish act worth mentioning.
