thisisNAMASTE drops her brand new single I Can Do It today Friday 11th October 2019 via Humble Angel Records. thisisNAMASTE (aka Natasha Marie Stewart) reveals this empowering pop anthem complete with sassy lyrics; “I can do it by myself, don’t need no one else to call. Don’t need nobody else babe, I got this on my own” and catchy electro pop stylings. This is the third single from the Scottish artist, as she continues to hone her craft in the studio working on new music. 

“I wrote I Can Do It, as I got fed up of many situations I found myself in, in which some people questioned a girls ability to do certain things that nobody would question a guy doing. Whether it was lifting something heavy to doing an unconventional job. I wanted to write a tongue-in-cheek song that was fun and empowering for young women.“- thisisNAMASTE 

Raised in Lanark, a small town between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Natasha Stewart was captivated with music from an early age citing big songwriters such as Whitney and Mariah Carey as inspirations. With no musical family (both her parents are dentists), Natasha forged her own path and moved to London to study Creative Musicianship at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.

Natasha soon landed gigs touring as a backing vocalist for the likes of Rita Ora, Ella Eyre, Bebe Rexha and Martin Garrix, performing on some of the world’s biggest stages whilst developing her own songwriting as thisisNAMASTE. Taking her childhood pop influences and a love of artists such as Sia, Robyn and Tove Lo and a pack of big pop songs in her pocket to follow, 2019 will witness thisisNAMASTE coming into her own.
