Release date: TBC Label: Virgin EMI
Fresh from his triumphant, sold-out performance at London’s Omeara, artist and songwriter James Smith releases his new track “Hollow”. A vulnerable, powerful ballad that will continue the growing hype around one of the UK’s most quickly rising young stars.
Following on from a string of releases and his debut EP “Little Love” last year, the singer-songwriter has continued to blaze a path through the pop landscape in 2019, racing to over 93M streams and achieving eyebrow-raising numbers for his recent releases “Tell Me That You Love Me” (50M streams and counting) and “T-shirts” (25M streams).
Born in Upton Park and just turned 20 with European tour dates and his first EP already in the bag, James continues his self-made hot streak back home with this new incendiary release. With critical support across tastemakers NOTION andCLASH MAGAZINE as well as significant blog hype, James is emerging as one of the year’s most reactive homegrown talents.
With a huge recent London show that had to be upgraded due to demand, keep your eye on James, he’s shaping up to be a surefire One to Watch.
