Puerto Rican singer/ songwriter Farrukohas unveiled the very special reworking of his own hit single ‘Krippy Kush’, which has so far amassed a whopping 72 million Spotify streams. The track, which was released earlier this summer, has dominated charts all over the world, peaking at the #5 spot on “Hot Latin Songs,” and garnering over half a billion views on the official video release. In the Latin Region, the single reached the Top 5 on radio charts in Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Chile, Guatemala, Peru, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and Costa Rica.

Roping in the skills of internationally acclaimed rap superstar Nicki Minaj, and American hip-hop artist 21 Savage, the latest version of Farruko’s production is a vibrant and dynamic take on the original, with both artists spinning their uptempo lyrics across the piece to create a brooding, lyrically aggressive tone over the dirty trap production.

Having started his career in reggaeton, singer/songwriter Farruko fuses elements of hip-hop and Spanish-trap to create an artistically fluid sound, having previously collaborated with the likes of J Balvin and Daddy Yankee.

The release follows Farruko’s 25-date US Tour, and precedes his upcoming European tour with the producer playing a run of 10 dates across the continent, ending in London at the Coronet Theatre on Sunday 10th December.-
