.About Laura Critchley

Hey, I'm Laura Critchley, I'm a singer songwriter from Merseyside. I have been singing from the age of 7 when I first joined my church choir. I attended Jigsaw's Music and Drama School for 7 years from the age of 10 perfoming in Musical Productions each year. I was always a little bit of a Bridget Jones, I have a backlog of diarys and poems from over the years, I loved writing and at the age of 14 I began to put melodies to my lyrics and began working with other musicians and creating my own music.

I was 16 when I had a three track demo completed of my own material and began to start taking it round local radio stations and press in Liverpool, I then started gigging in any venues which would offer me a gig and from that I never stopped, I love performing live, for me thats my major perk of the music industry! I blummin love it, especially singing my own stuff.

Last year I reached a point of feeling that I had saturated Liverpool of all it could offer me and made one the biggest decisions of my life... I moved to London with intent to gig and get signed...I moved in June staying on a friends floor by September I was signed...so it's all pretty much a big whirlwind for me at the minute. At the moment I'm recording the album for a release in MArch April next year. Would love to hear your thoughts on the music as I still havent decided which song I should bring out as a first single yet so do let me know your thoughts on that one.
