Thursday 26th May 2011

Box Bottom is the production team behind the club dub ska classic Baddest Ruffest by Backyard Dog, the track that introduced a lot of people to Dubstep and Ska before it was trendy or fashionable. The track was featured in movies, ‘Ali G in da House’ and ‘Bend it Like Beckham’ and also in the 2002 Coca Cola World Cup music.

Box Bottom
are back with Bounce and Boom, which manages to merge two scenes bringing that rave dubsteb sound, while delivering old school hype ragga vocal  with a Reel2Reel chorus. With the a massive catchy chorus the track is already setting the dancefloors alight and has caught the attention of a well known cult drinks brand, and will be featuring in an TV ad campaign starting June 4th. The ad will ensure this already hot track becomes a summer anthem, and the cheeky manc phrase ‘Blackberries glow in the dark’ will also see this track glowing in the clubs.
