Dollar Pound Cake (DPC)

East London’s very own, T Mulla releases the highly anticipated track “Dollar Pound Cake (DPC)” Via Virgin EMI

Watch the video here:

T first participated in creating music at a tender age when he picked up the drum kit in primary school. By 13 he was participating in the African Gospel choir at church playing the Djembe. Mulla’s music is influenced by the rich and organic sounds he grew up listening to. Thus, no surprise to see him today capturing the hearts of UK youth through versatile, catchy flows and melodies.

Fast forward, now 19 years old and an Economics undergraduate, the East Londoner is a recording artist pursing his dreams.

First played on BBC 1Xtra as DJ Target’s UK unsigned feature, T Mulla provides an undeniable banger with DPC. As Afro Swing continues to take over the UK, T Mulla’s standout track provides a soundtrack for dreamers, prompting everyone on their grind to keep focused on “The dollar, the pound, the cake”.

Produced by Jre (part of J.O.A.T Music Group whose credits include J Hus, Not3s, Wretch 32 and more), the track has already had over 1 million streams in the UK alone and shows no sign of slowing down.

The infectious hook and melodic flows displays T Mulla’s exciting artistry and this track proves that he’s one to watch.

T Mulla recently supported Hardy Caprio on tour this month:

Wed 24th Jan – Manchester Academy 3, Manchester

Thurs 25th Jan – O2 Institute2 Birmingham, Birmingham

Friday 26th Jan – O2 Academy Islington, London
