Meet the track that’s going to dominate this summer’s playlists – MÖWE & Daniel Nitt’s ‘Lovers Friends’. Already heating up European clubs and radio, ‘Lovers Friends’ is a standout, feel good cut from the Austrian duo and the German singer/songwriter, and has so far notched up 6 million online streams. ‘Lovers Friends’ is signed to Positiva Records in the UK via via Armada’s The Bearded Man imprint, home of Lost Frequencies.
MÖWE aka Melanie Ebietoma and Clemens Martinuzzi, are part of Austria’s new Electro Generation, and now household names in their home country and across Germany. In addition to a raft of original songs and productions, including previous singles ‘Blauer Tag’ and ‘Chasing Clouds’, the pair have crafted a series of remixes for Moby and Hudson Taylor, plus very successful bootlegs and edits, including their hugely successful take on Nina Simone (‘Birds Flying High’), and Technotronic.
More of a band than laptop geeks, they’re both accomplished musicians with experience in live bands since their early teens, MÖWE have grown a large worldwide fanbase through YouTube and club and festival shows. They’ve become a breath-taking live act, with standout shows including MS Dockville Festival in Hamburg, the Social Club in Paris, the Utopia Island Festival in Switzerland and Shambala Festival in Canada.
Daniel Nitt is a Berlin-based singer, songwriter, producer and composer. He co-wrote ‘不只有緣 (Lucky In Love)’ with Roxanne Seeman for Jacky Cheung, China's #1 Pop Icon. He co-composed and co-produced the score for the soundtrack to Til Schweiger's new German blockbuster movie, ‘Zweiohrküken (Rabbits Without Ears 2)’ with Dirk Reichardt and Mirko Schaffer. Nitt, Reichardt and Schaffer wrote the original song, ‘Sleepless’, which Nitt performs. The soundtrack went gold.
