The unmistakable rock n pop icon, Cyndi Lauper, has just released her Worldwide critically acclaimed album 'Bring Ya To The Brink' featuring collaborations with top producers; Basement Jaxx, Kleerup (UK No.1 Single With Every Heartbeat feat. Robyn), Axwell (known for his club remixes of Madonna and Nelly Furtado), The Scumfrog (Britney Spears and Kylie), and electro pop band Dragonette. The first single to be lifted from it, 'Into The Nightlife', co-written with Peer Astrom (Madonna) and Max Martin (P!NK, Britney Spears, Robyn) and was inspired by the book of the same name, written by Henry Miller.

Cyndi, well known for her vocally superior and emotionally intense live performances, recently concluded the second year of her 25-city True Colors Tour. The tour, which raised awareness about gay rights, featured icons B-52s, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts as well as up and coming acts like Tegan and Sara, The Cliks, Regina Spektor and many more. A UK tour is scheduled for October.

On Bring Ya To The Brink Cyndi maintains her total immersion in the creative process, co-writing and co-producing every track. The album showcases an edgy new sound evident on the first single, Into The Nightlife co-produced with Peer Astrom who has written and produced for Madonna, Celine Dion and Enrique Iglesias.
