"Tears In Ibiza" from The Stickmen Project ft AR/CO
Friday 22nd July 2022
Release date: Out now Label: Warner Records
The mysterious electronic duo The Stickmen Project have been making waves with huge collaborations with Felix Jaehn (‘Rain In Ibiza’ featuring Calum Scott) and Armin Van Buuren (‘No Fun’), leading them to become the world’s second biggest electronic artist on TikTok after Marshmello. Now The Stickmen Project are primed to have a huge summer smash with their new single ‘Tears In Ibiza’, which has already enjoyed early tastemaker support from Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens and many more.
You can see why those big names are already been won over. ‘Tears In Ibiza’ is an immediately euphoric crossover anthem with all of the energy, exuberance and feelgood factor needed to make it the sound of the summer. The instantly addictive “la la la” hook is sure to become inescapable in the coming months, while the promise that it will “make you swing from chandeliers like Sia” sounds like TikTok’s next big party season challenge.
‘Tears In Ibiza’ features rising electronic duo AR/CO. A product of the feverish imaginations of Mali-Koa and Leo Stannard, AR/CO sound as if MGMT met Daft Punk at a dusty desert rave. Celebrating life, unity and international togetherness, AR/CO have worked with Don Diablo, Franky Wah, JADED and Will Clarke, and recently dropped their own debut track ‘Call Me By My Name’.
The Stickmen Project have already ignited audiences with two sold-out shows at the O2 Academy Brixton as guests to The Chainsmokers and their own London residency at Night Tales. They will hit the Ibiza Rocks Pool Party on July 18th before their summer festival adventures continue in August with Creamfields, Reading and Leeds.
In addition to their recent collabs, The Stickmen Project have also teamed up with tastemakers such as Armada, DJ Mag and Spinnin’, as well as remixing the likes of Joel Corry, David Guetta, MEDUZA, Seeb, 220 KID and Steve Angello. Rapidly expanding their following on all social media and streaming platforms, the duo have exceeded 180 million career streams to date.
