Armand Van Helden & Brittles unleash "The Promoter"

American DJ, producer, remixer and songwriter Armand Van Helden is without a doubt one of the most notable names in the dance music industry. With a career spanning across three decades, the New York-born house icon first burst into the electronic music scene in the early 90s where he was considered one of the best remixers in the business. He scored his first Grammy Award nomination in 1998 for ‘Best Remixed Recording’ and the following year made his mark as a producer with the UK number one hit single ‘You Don’t Know Me,’ which also landed within the top 10 charts across multiple European countries.

Van Helden’s global success continued to reach new heights throughout the 21st century with mainstream hits such as ‘My My My,’ ‘I Want Your Soul’ and ‘Bonkers’ with British rapper Dizzee Rascal, which peaked at No.2 on the Billboard Dance Chart.  He also found further international success with electronic music duo Duck Sauce, a side project formed with Canadian DJ A-Trak. Their Platinum-selling smash hit single “Barbra Streisand’ topped the charts in twelve countries and landed a Grammy Award nomination for ‘Best Dance Recording.’ Armand continues to be an in-demand remixer, with stars such as Sam Smith, Madonna, and Disclosure among his clients. He is also one of the most popular producers around, thanks to successful collaborations with Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Dizzee Rascal, and Steve Aoki. 

Now Armand Van Helden is back releasing his new single ‘The Promoter’ in collaboration with Brittles. Speaking about the upcoming electro-house release, which is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the way club promoters approach potential female clientele, Armand says “Brittles and I tried to kill tables with a song.” ‘The Promoter’ is set for release on 10th June 2022 on 3 Beat.
