Joel Corry gets even bigger "Sorry" now with James Hype remix

Friday 9th August 2019

Release date: TBC Label: Perfect Havoc / Asylum Records

After taking the clubs by storm throughout 2019 so far, Joel Corry’s ‘Sorry’ – a booming, peaktime flip of Monsta Boy’s UK Garage classic  and debut single with Perfect Havoc via Asylum Records – is really starting to move.

Originally released in April, ‘Sorry’ has bubbled under for the last few months and been a standout track in Joel’s sets across Zante, Malia, Kavos, Ayia Napa, Magaluf and Ibiza, where he holds numerous residencies. Now boasting the largest ever amount of UK Shazam tags in 24 hours ever recorded (over 41,000!) after being synched on ITV 2’s Love Island and being named Scott Mills’ Track of the Day on BBC R1, ‘Sorry’ continues to grow week on week, amassing over 10 million global streams so far, and looks set to end the summer as one of this year’s biggest dance hits.

Joel started DJing at the age of 13, and has over 10 years of club experience under his belt. Growing up during the peak of the UK Garage era, Joel’s early musical influences included iconic figures like Todd Edwards, MJ Cole and DJ EZ. Joel quickly developed a passion for dance music, which is evident in his UK House production style.

Joel joined KISS FM in 2017 and hosts his weekly specialist show on Thursday Night KISS. He also regularly performs for KISS across Europe at venues such as Ocean Beach Ibiza, BH Mallorca and Sisu Marbella.

Joel is one of the busiest DJs on the circuit, with 80+ shows in the diary this summer. His relentless touring schedule includes residencies in Zante, Malia, Kavos, Ayia Napa, Magaluf and Ibiza. Joel’s ‘Joel Corry Presents’ residency has also become the biggest club
