Prayer / Information

Release date: TBC Label: Stress

Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World

Danny Howard’s Future Fire Dance Act

Iconic UK house label Stress Records returns after a thirteen year hiatus armed with a brand two track release with the hotly tipped Prospa.

With early support from the likes of Danny Howard, Monki, BBC Introducing and Annie Mac under their belt, it's no wonder the young duo are being touted as ones to watch for 2018 and beyond.

The Leeds duo serve up two massive acid inspired dance floor cuts with Prayer and Information.

“We're mad excited about being part of the relaunch of legendary dance label stress records, we feel this is a major milestone for Prospa.”

Prayer starts with a muted kick and sonic synths then builds into an acid romp with a swung drum pattern, 90s rave inspired vocals and a whole host of other sounds. There’s an aura of nostalgia with this track that will tug on the heartstrings of the long standing Stress Records fans.

The B side, Information goes down a more acid-electro-funk vibe, with a relentless thumping bass line. It’s direct electronic dance music for a new club generation.

Stress Records is the long serving House label that brought the world many seminal house tracks including Bedrock ‘For You Dream Of’, Last Rhythm – Last Rhythm and Greed ‘Pump Up The Volume’ to name a few. During the 1990’s Stress was considered one of the world’s greatest record labels where it was known for it’s growing influence on the progressive house scene. It gave birth to the early careers of iconic producers Sasha and John Digweed. It also spawned several seminal club anthems that went on to top dance charts globally. Part of the DMC group, the Stress catalogue has never been available digitally until 2018 where again Stress will make its impact again on electronic music.
