Fine Line ft Not3s

Release date: TBC Label: Polydor

Mabel has premiered her brand new single, ‘Fine Line’ (ft. Not3s), which is available today on Polydor Records. She has also confirmed details of a UK and European headline tour, including her biggest show yet at London’s Kentish Town Forum on April 25th, as well as the invitation to open for Harry Styles on a run of dates this spring.

Full of attitude, energy and seemingly buoyed by the confidence of a breakthrough twelve months, ‘Fine Line’ begins Mabel’s 2018 with a bang. Teaming up once again with Not3s – the BBC Sound of 2018 nominated rapper whose new, Top-20 single, ‘My Lover’, Mabel also features on – ‘Fine Line’ soundtracks those crossroad moments in a budding romance whilst urging women to take the wheel.  “Fine Line,”says Mabel, is a playful track that I wrote about that fun phase at the beginning of a relationship when you're trying to figure each other out. It's about getting lost in something without losing yourself completely and how that's exciting but also dangerous.”

‘Fine Line’ follows the incredible success of ‘Finders Keepers’, which slowly grew throughout 2017 into one of the crossover moments of the year. Having spent five weeks in the UK Top 10 (the third longest stint for a new UK artist), Mabel was also recently nominated for the prestigious BRITS Critics’ Choice Award and Mobo Awards. Along the way, there were appearances everywhere from ‘Later…with Jools Holland’ to ‘Top of the Pops’ and the Boy Better Know takeover, all of which culminated in the release of Mabel’s critically-acclaimed debut mixtape, ‘Ivy To Roses’: a vivid snapshot of her extraordinary personal journey to date, and a collection of songs exploring everything from feminine independence and control in modern relationships to growing up, and into your own skin.

2018 will see Mabel continue work on her debut album, which she has arguably had running through her blood for years now. From being born into a musical dynasty and choreographing DIY dance routines with her sister to writing songs in secret and slowly releasing music online, Mabel has found her voice as one of British pop’s most refreshing and positive young role models. It’s this ability to move effortlessly between the worlds of music, fashion, dance and art that is central to everything Mabel does, making her as at home collaborating with Stormzy or Tate Modern as she is teaming up with campaigns for Adidas and Topshop.

On ‘Fine Line’, Mabel takes another step on her unique journey towards international pop stardom – and she’s taking you with her.
