SAY WHAT?!

MARK URSA AND YUGA RELEASE ‘SAY’, FEATURING CLASSIC WHITNEY HOUSTON SAMPLE

Mark Ursa and Yuga will be kicking off the New Year in 2017 with the release of their new track ‘Say’ on 6 January.  The track features a beautiful Whitney Houston sample taken from the double platinum selling record ‘My Love is Your Love’.  ‘Say’ will be released on Belgium’s ‘Moskito Records’, a division of CNR Records that features some of the biggest names in the industry including Avicii, Armin Van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Hardwell.

The original track was written for Whitney Houston by Wyclef Jean, the highly respected hip hop and reggae artist who first rose to fame with The Fugees. ‘Your love is my love’ was originally released in 1999 from the album of the same name and went on to become Houston’s third biggest selling record of all time.

Mark Ursa said, “It’s been a privilege for us to work with the vocals of Whitney Houston, who in my opinion was one of the most talented R&B voices of our time, so sadly no longer with us.  This was a powerful, spiritual song from Wyclef Jean and to be able to re-present these lyrics in a house concept, for a modern audience, is a huge honour for us. We are excited to bring this to dancefloors around the world this year.”

Mark has already enjoyed great success from his productions in recent years, including his huge bootleg of David Guetta’s ‘Dangerous’ and his remix of Bob Sinclair’s ‘Summer Moonlight’ which Bob played in every one of his shows.  The track is expected to be well received in Ibiza where Mark has been performing for 20 years.

His production partner Yuga is already well known in the international house music scene under the name ‘Tradelove’. Yuga has been in the Beatport Top Ten over ten times in recent years, including two number one’s.

‘Say’ has received strong support already from the likes of Bob Sinclar,  Lost Frequencies, Judges Jules,  Gareth Emery, Yves V, Yves Larock, Kolombo, Ftampa and many others, and is available on all leading platforms from January 6th..
